Name | Version: CPHN ALL BUNDLE HUGE UPDATE AND DISCOUNT 2.0
Author: cellophanaudio
Device Type: Audio Effect
Description: CPHN Audio Devices Bundle

CPHN Audio Devices is a bundle of Max for Live processors and utilities built for people who actually work inside Ableton Live every day. The devices are designed to feel native, practical, and fast: no oversized plugin window, no unnecessary visual noise, no complicated routing just to make a sound sit right.

This version is a major update across the bundle. Most of the devices received rebuilt or heavily improved cores, better DSP behavior, cleaner dependency handling, and a simplified native Ableton-style UI. The devices now sit more naturally in Live, automate cleanly, recall properly, and stay focused on the controls that matter.

The overall idea is simple: give Live users a set of character tools that feel like part of Ableton, but sound and behave with more intention than stock utility devices.

What changed in this update:

- Better DSP cores across the main processors.
- More precise detector behavior in the compressors.
- Improved timing, smoothing, and gain-reduction response.
- Better analog/color stages where the devices need tone.
- Cleaner sidechain and stereo-link behavior.
- More accurate passive EQ behavior in CELTEC.
- More stable clip editing and gain-staging utilities.
- Simplified UI built from native Ableton/Max controls.
- Cleaner device folders and distribution packages.
- Updated descriptions and documentation for every device.

The UI Update

The devices have been simplified visually so they feel closer to Ableton's own device style. The goal was not to make a flashy plugin skin. The goal was to make devices that are easy to read in a rack, easy to automate, and quick to use while producing.

Included Devices

CPHN FETTY 3.0

FETTY is a fast FET compressor inspired by the 1176 workflow. It is built for drums, vocals, bass, parallel compression, room crush, and anything that needs fast control or extra movement.

The updated core includes improved ratio-dependent detector behavior, program-dependent release, internal dry/wet mix, stereo link, detector high-pass filtering, optional analog noise, partial auto gain, and a new Vintage/Studio voicing option. Vintage keeps the more colored and aggressive FET character. Studio is cleaner, slightly more controlled, and better when you want compression without as much attitude.

FETTY is not just a generic compressor with a fast attack. The ratios change the detector, timing, knee, threshold, and tone response. ALL mode has its own nonlinear behavior for more obvious crush and movement.

CPHN OPTY 3.0

OPTY is an optical tube leveler inspired by LA-2A/T4-style leveling. It is made for vocals, bass, guitars, synths, and sources that need smooth control without sounding overworked.

The updated core places the detector before the Color stage, so Color changes the tone without secretly increasing compression. Peak Reduction now drives a more detailed optical behavior with threshold, ratio, knee, timing, and memory changes. The opto release uses fast, slow, and history cells, giving it a more natural first recovery and slower tail after sustained gain reduction.

OPTY also includes Compress/Limit modes, Speed Trim, Mix, Stereo Link, detector HPF, Noise, and a compact gain-reduction meter.

CPHN STRESSY 2.0

STRESSY is the aggressive dynamics device in the bundle, inspired by the Distressor style of flexible compression, detector shaping, and distortion modes.

The updated core gives each ratio its own behavior instead of simply changing a ratio number. The detector weighting, threshold, knee, attack, release, and curve shape all change across modes. 10:1 uses a smoother opto-style memory path. 20:1 and Nuke move into harder limiting and transient control.

Detector HP and Detector Band shape what the compressor reacts to. Audio HP, Dist 2, and Dist 3 shape the actual sound. Dist 2 is more asymmetrical and class-A-like; Dist 3 is more symmetrical and peak-flattening. STRESSY is for compression that can be clean, firm, or obviously stressed.

CPHN CELTEC 2.0

CELTEC is a tube program EQ inspired by Pultec-style passive equalizers. It is built for broad tone shaping, not surgical correction.

The updated core is a big improvement. The low boost and low attenuation networks are now more intentionally offset, so the classic low-end trick works better: more weight while cleaning upper bass and low mids. The high boost is shaped more like a passive resonant family instead of a simple digital bell, using a rising side and falling side around the selected frequency. High attenuation is smoother and interacts more musically with the low network.

The analog path includes input transformer rounding, passive insertion loss, load sag, interstage transformer behavior, push-pull tube makeup, memory, HF rounding, output transformer color, and final protection. CELTEC is for making things feel wider, deeper, warmer, or more finished with a few broad moves.

CPHN C73 PROCY 3.0

C73 PROCY is a style-based multiband dynamics and tone processor. It is not a clone of one box. It is a fast mix-shaping device for clarity, punch, air, rumble control, width, ambience, and vocal enhancement.

Each style changes the internal DSP behavior: crossover points, detector timing, thresholds, ratios, tone shaping, makeup, width, air, and dynamic control. Amount controls how far the selected style goes. Mix lets it sit in parallel. Air, Color, Gain, and Mono Safe finish the move.

It is useful when a sound is close but still needs direction quickly.

CPHN AUTO CLIP 2.0

AUTO CLIP is a Clip Gain utility for Ableton Live. It analyzes playback level and writes the correction directly to the selected audio clip's Clip Gain.

This update improves the analysis logic. AUTO CLIP now uses rolling or loop-aware analysis, adaptive gating, peak safety, correction limits, predicted peak readout, and measured Clip Gain mapping. It is made to help tracks hit the rest of the mix chain at a more consistent level without adding another gain plugin.

It is a small device, but it solves a real Live workflow problem.

CPHN NULLY 2.0

NULLY is an offline Arrangement audio-clip silence remover. It analyzes the selected audio clip, finds active regions, shows the detected regions, and creates trimmed replacement clips when you apply the edit.

This update makes the workflow clearer and safer. NULLY is for unwarped Arrangement audio clips only. Warp must be off for correct timing. It does not process audio in real time and it is not a gate. It edits clips through Live's API, preserving the useful regions and removing silence after analysis.

It is useful for vocals, drum recordings, foley, samples, and any recorded material where cleaning silence manually would slow down the session.

Why this bundle exists

The CPHN bundle is meant to feel like a practical Ableton-native toolkit:

- AUTO CLIP fixes gain staging at the clip level.
- NULLY cleans recorded audio before the mix.
- CELTEC shapes broad tone and color.
- OPTY levels smoothly.
- FETTY controls fast and adds punch.
- STRESSY handles aggressive compression and saturation.
- C73 PROCY gives fast style-based finishing.

The devices are simple on the surface, but the cores are more detailed now. That is the whole point of the update: better sound, better response, less visual clutter, and a workflow that stays inside Ableton's world.

For Max for Live users, this bundle is built to be useful immediately: load the device, turn the controls, automate them if needed, and keep working.
